Because your outline will probably change as you progress with your research, it is called a "working" Outline. Your working Outline usually begins with the "bare bones" such as main ideas or key terms to help you get started. As you read, learn more, & take notes, you will add to or change your outline. You may even want to convert it to a sentence outline to make your paper easier to write.
